COMMUNITY COMMITTEE
The interim committee members in Kamchai Mear were elected in 2006 and
they have met regularly since. The committee meetings revolved mostly
on discussions on their roles and responsibilities, their tenure, as
well as formulation of the community by-laws. The interim committee
members were also able to meet with the international advisors for the
first time and expressed their expectations of the project. Apart from
this, the committee members also contributed valuable inputs for the
baseline survey questionnaire, in the writing of the community ICT by-laws
and in the selection of village hubs. The following are the elected
interim committee members of Kamchai Mear Pilot.
